I'm a remote worker and Rent is about $1,601/month for a decent place. Average temperature is around 62--F, so the weather is moderate. Poverty rate is 14.2%, which is around average. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. What are your go-to spots? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The weather takes some getting used to. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.
