Grocery stores in Comstock Northwest -recommendations?
So, I'm a 51-year-old physical therapist and Average temperature is around 50--F, so expect cold winters. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Hope this helps!.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 15 years ago from Pittsburgh and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in West. It's improving for what you get.
Jobs: The market is reasonable right now, especially in consulting. If you're in marketing you might struggle.
People: Generally better than expected. It took about 12 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like Asian.
Good luck with whatever you decide..

The food scene here is tough. Tons of great Italian places. I genuinely enjoy living here.
