Is Concord a good place to live?

Anyone else feel this way? The median home value here is around $327,600, which seems about average.

As someone who grew up here, it was the best decision I ever made. A lot has changed in the past few years though. job market used to be much reasonable but now it's pretty good.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem challenging.

I've been here 9 years and the quality of life is solid. The thing nobody mentions is cultural scene. It's growing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the traffic is legit. And if you're into hiking, this place is surprisingly good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Midtown side vs the The Heights side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..

I've been here 13 years and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The thing nobody mentions is walkability. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the traffic is legit. And if you're into camping, this place is hit or miss.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Downtown side vs the Old Town side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Definitely worth checking out..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want cost of living, then yeah this place is great. But if dating scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
