Top 5 things I love about Concord

Curious what people think. Median household income is $84,752, which feels pretty solid for the area. The city has invested a lot in new development. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Let me know your thoughts. TIA! Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The weather takes some getting used to. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Bought a house here in 2015 and it's exactly what I was looking for. Property values have gone down slightly since then.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from Seattle and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Cedar Grove. It's hit or miss for what you get.

Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in engineering. If you're in real estate you might struggle.

People: Generally challenging. It took about 15 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: tough. Tons of options if you like Indian.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want cost of living, then yeah this place is great. But if weather matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

I've been living here for 12 years and I'd say there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The healthcare is better than expected compared to other places I've lived. Overall Hope this helps!.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from Seattle and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Midtown. It's decent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is reasonable right now, especially in engineering. If you're in education you might struggle.

People: Generally improving. It took about 13 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like BBQ.

Good luck with whatever you decide..
