Working remotely from Concord — my experience

I've been working remotely from Concord for 12 years now. Here's my take:

The pace of life here is perfect for remote work. No crazy commute stress, affordable living, and enough amenities to not feel isolated.

Cost of living: pretty reasonable
Internet: Could be better but workable with a good provider
Coworking spaces: A few good ones downtown

If you're looking for a place to WFH, Concord is underrated for remote workers.

I'd add that the parks here are amazing for families. Otherwise spot on!

Rent tip: look for places in October-November. Prices drop and there's more availability.

Respectfully disagree about the safety concerns. In my experience, it really depends on your lifestyle.

Coming from Miami, the cost of living difference is noticeable. Groceries and gas are about the same.

Great post! One thing I'd mention is drive around neighborhoods at different times before committing. Makes a big difference.

I've lived in Highland Park for 14 years and it's still one of the best decisions I made.

Don't sleep on Eastside. It's up and coming and still affordable.
