Best kept secrets of Conestee, SC

Not sure if this has been asked before, but Homes are going for about $211,600 on average. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The city has invested a lot in new development.

I work in manufacturing here and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The job market for my field is challenging. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from Baltimore and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Uptown. It's better than expected for what you get.

Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in consulting. If you're in finance you might struggle.

People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 9 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: pretty good. Tons of options if you like craft beer.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Compared to Houston it's excellent.
