Anyone work in healthcare in Congress?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but With a population of 1,700, Congress is a small town. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Is this normal for Congress?

As someone who grew up here, it's been a really good experience overall. A lot has changed in the past few years though. job market used to be much stable but now it's improving.

I've lived in North for about 1 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it was the best decision I ever made. When I first moved here from Portland, I was surprised by cultural scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- The nightlife scene is hit or miss

The downsides:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Homeless population growing downtown

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for families. Happy to answer more specific questions..

Public transit is pretty good here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it exceeded my expectations.

I'm a accountant and I've found I genuinely enjoy living here. The community is challenging and there's always something going on.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want healthcare, then yeah this place is great. But if cultural scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Used to live on the Highland side, now on the Meadowbrook side. Completely different vibe. I genuinely enjoy living here.

The food scene here is better than expected. Tons of great Southern places. it's exactly what I was looking for.

We moved here with our family and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Schools in Meadowbrook area are pretty good. Kids love it here.
