Moving to Conley with kids -good idea?
First post here. Crime rate is something to consider -Conley sits at 615.2 per 100K. Median household income is $45,598, which feels on the lower side for the area. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Would love some local perspective. The suburbs are where most families end up. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The weather takes some getting used to. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.
