Connellsville is underrated, change my mind

Hey, I've been here for 13 years and With a population of 6,914, Connellsville is a small town. You can expect to pay around $665 for rent here. The weather takes some getting used to. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

As someone who grew up here, I'm still on the fence after all this time. A lot has changed in the past few years though. healthcare used to be much developing but now it's decent.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a teacher who relocated here from LA about 7 years ago. The main reasons were weather and school.

Pros I've experienced:
- Active local events and festivals
- Four distinct seasons
- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Limited shopping options

Financially, we've found it decent compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are manageable, gas is excellent.

Socially, it's improved dramatically in recent years. Definitely worth checking out..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it exceeded my expectations. Internet is excellent in most areas.
