Is Conning Towers-Nautilus Park getting better or worse?

Random thought, I'm a teacher here and Average temperature is around 52--F, so expect cold winters. Rent is about $1,776/month for a decent place. The weather takes some getting used to. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. What are your go-to spots? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 4 years ago from San Diego and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Old Town. It's underrated for what you get.

Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in manufacturing. If you're in manufacturing you might struggle.

People: Generally tough. It took about 8 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: solid. Tons of options if you like Indian.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 6 years ago from Salt Lake City and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in West. It's surprisingly good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is reasonable right now, especially in consulting. If you're in retail you might struggle.

People: Generally excellent. It took about 13 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: average. Tons of options if you like BBQ.

Good luck with whatever you decide..
