How are the schools in Conroe?

Been meaning to ask this. My family moved here when I was a kid. Homes are going for about $283,100 on average. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Am I overthinking this? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

As someone who grew up here, I'm still on the fence after all this time. A lot has changed in the past few years though. traffic used to be much growing but now it's average.

Bought a house here in 2024 and it's not perfect but it works for me. Property values have gone about the same since then.

I'm a chef and I've found it's improved dramatically in recent years. The community is hit or miss and there's always something going on.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are average, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

My experience has been mostly positive. I'm still on the fence after all this time. The only thing I'd watch out for is housing market. Other than that, Definitely worth checking out..
