Top 5 things I love about Conroe
So, Been living here since 2009. You can expect to pay around $1,350 for rent here. With a population of 96,976, Conroe is a smaller city. Crime rate is something to consider -Conroe sits at 319.7 per 100K. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.
Pros:
- Great weather
- Good job market
- Nice parks and trails
- Growing food scene
- Low taxes
Cons:
- Sprawl everywhere
- Limited dining options
- Boring for young people
- Far from major airports
- Limited cultural events
Cheers. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
