Is Conway getting better or worse?

Longtime lurker here, Homes are going for about $234,600 on average. With a population of 66,288, Conway is a smaller city. It's a a smaller city city with about 66,288 people. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Let me know your thoughts. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I genuinely enjoy living here. Internet is improving in most areas.

We moved here with our family and I have mixed feelings honestly. Schools in Sunset area are surprisingly good. Kids love it here.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a social worker who relocated here from Raleigh about 9 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and a fresh start.

Pros I've experienced:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Good airport with direct flights
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Property taxes are high
- Road conditions need improvement

Financially, we've found it solid compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are manageable, gas is average.

Socially, I have mixed feelings honestly. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Public transit is decent here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I love the pace of life here.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 3 years ago from Phoenix and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Old Town. It's challenging for what you get.

Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in finance. If you're in legal you might struggle.

People: Generally pretty good. It took about 3 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: pretty good. Tons of options if you like BBQ.

Definitely worth checking out..
