Freelancing from Coolidge -experience?

Hi all, I'm a college student here and It's a a small town city with about 15,300 people. Rent is about $1,150/month for a decent place. Average temperature is around 71--F, so it's warm year-round. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Does this match your experience? The city has invested a lot in new development. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. I've lived in Riverside for about 10 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. When I first moved here from Boston, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Strong job market in several industries
- The public transit scene is tough

The downsides:
- Homeless population growing downtown
- Limited entertainment options

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for couples. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
