Is public transit usable in Coon Rapids?

Household incomes average around $86,618 in Coon Rapids. The weather takes some getting used to. Should I be concerned? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a project manager who relocated here from Seattle about 8 years ago. The main reasons were family and retirement.

Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Diverse dining options

Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Not a lot of cultural diversity

Financially, we've found it average compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are wild, gas is average.

Socially, it's improved dramatically in recent years. Good luck with whatever you decide..
