Cheapest neighborhoods in Cooper City?

Hello, Poverty rate is 3.8%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $122,565, which feels pretty solid for the area. Average temperature is around 76--F, so it's warm year-round. Homes are going for about $555,800 on average. Rent is about $2,392/month for a decent place. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

Pros:
- Affordable cost of living
- Good healthcare facilities
- Strong sense of community
- Walkable downtown

Cons:
- Traffic can be terrible
- Not very walkable
- Mosquitoes and humidity
- Limited cultural events
- Homelessness issues downtown
Has anyone dealt with this? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 2 years ago from Chicago and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Greenfield. It's excellent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in consulting. If you're in real estate you might struggle.

People: Generally tough. It took about 17 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: pretty good. Tons of options if you like Asian.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..

I've been living here for 14 years and I'd say I'm still on the fence after all this time. The cultural scene is improving compared to other places I've lived. Overall It's not for everyone but it works for us..
