The good and bad of living in Cooper City

Not sure if this has been asked before, but Homes are going for about $555,800 on average. Crime rate is something to consider -Cooper City sits at 70.5 per 100K. Poverty rate is 3.8%, which is pretty low. It's a a smaller city city with about 34,166 people. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. What would you do? Looking forward to hearing from you all. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want housing market, then yeah this place is great. But if cost of living matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Used to live on the Uptown side, now on the Lakewood side. Completely different vibe. I'm still on the fence after all this time.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. I have mixed feelings honestly. Compared to Nashville it's improving.
