Thinking about relocating to Cooper City from Phoenix
Random thought, Rent is about $2,392/month for a decent place. Average temperature is around 76--F, so it's warm year-round. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a physical therapist who relocated here from Nashville about 10 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and quality of life.
Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Active local events and festivals
Cons that are real:
- Winters are long and cold
- Limited entertainment options
Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are reasonable, gas is better than expected.
Socially, I love the pace of life here. No regrets on my end..
