Alright, I'm retired and Household incomes average around $139,227 in Coppell. Crime rate is something to consider -Coppell sits at 59.3 per 100K. The unemployment rate is 1.4%, which is pretty low. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. What are your go-to spots? Appreciate any input. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.
I've been in Riverside for 13 years. Moved from Dallas for my partner's job. Here's my honest, detailed take:
**Housing:**
The market right now is underrated. We bought in 2023 at k and it's now worth up significantly than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 1-bed in a safe area. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals.
**Employment:**
healthcare is strong here. marketing is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are manageable for the area.
**Quality of Life:**
it's exactly what I was looking for. The outdoor scene is hit or miss - we have national forests within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.
**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Riverside schools are challenging. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.
**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Urban sprawl is real. Not a lot of cultural diversity. And cost of living can be frustrating.
**Bottom line:**
For remote workers, I'd say this is a 8/10. Feel free to reach out with questions.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

As someone who grew up here, it exceeded my expectations. A lot has changed in the past few years though. cultural scene used to be much growing but now it's hit or miss.

The food scene here is tough. Tons of great Mexican places. I genuinely enjoy living here.

I've been living here for 10 years and I'd say I have mixed feelings honestly. The nightlife is underrated compared to other places I've lived. Overall Would recommend to anyone considering it..
