Anyone work in healthcare in Copperas Cove?

Anyone else feel this way? Average temperature is around 67--F, so the weather is moderate. Median household income is $68,900, which feels about average for the area. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Used to live on the Greenfield side, now on the Lakewood side. Completely different vibe. the quality of life is solid.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I'm still on the fence after all this time. Happy to answer more specific questions..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem better than expected.

I've been here 12 years and it's improved dramatically in recent years. The thing nobody mentions is safety. It's affordable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the housing market is legit. And if you're into golfing, this place is challenging.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The The Heights side vs the Westside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..
