Cheapest neighborhoods in Copperas Cove?

I work in consulting and The median home value here is around $167,900, which is actually reasonable. Average temperature is around 67--F, so the weather is moderate. The weather takes some getting used to. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Worth the trade-offs? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

I've lived in The Heights for about 4 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I genuinely enjoy living here. When I first moved here from Minneapolis, I was surprised by dating scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Lots of new development happening
- Active local events and festivals
- The safety scene is surprisingly good

The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for retirees. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

I'm a real estate agent and I've found I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The community is hit or miss and there's always something going on.
