Coral Gables in the winter -how bad?

I'm a 22-year-old physical therapist and With a population of 49,243, Coral Gables is a smaller city. The unemployment rate is 2.0%, which is pretty low. It's a a smaller city city with about 49,243 people. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The city has invested a lot in new development. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Has anyone dealt with this? Cheers. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The weather takes some getting used to. I've been living here for 2 years and I'd say I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The outdoor recreation is decent compared to other places I've lived. Overall Good luck with whatever you decide..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a HR manager who relocated here from Austin about 15 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and family.

Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Close to major attractions
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Chain restaurants dominate

Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are affordable, gas is hit or miss.

Socially, I genuinely enjoy living here. Happy to answer more specific questions..
