Hey everyone, With a population of 134K, Coral Springs is a mid-size city. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. What are your go-to spots? Appreciate any input. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

Came here for my partner's job and stayed because it was the best decision I ever made. The dating scene is honestly challenging and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a teacher who relocated here from Dallas about 10 years ago. The main reasons were my partner's job and retirement.
Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Active local events and festivals
- Affordable housing options
Cons that are real:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Dating scene is rough
Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are reasonable, gas is hit or miss.
Socially, it's improved dramatically in recent years. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
