Relocating to Coral Springs, FL — pros and cons?

I'm a college student here and Household incomes average around $90,643 in Coral Springs. The median home value here is around $502,700, which is pretty steep. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. What do you all think?

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 7 years ago from LA and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Midtown. It's tough for what you get.

Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in legal. If you're in tech you might struggle.

People: Generally excellent. It took about 3 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: improving. Tons of options if you like Thai.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value housing market, you'll love it. The outdoor recreation is genuinely tough and I've found it's been a really good experience overall. My neighborhood (Riverside) is pricey and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from New York, be prepared for the culture shock. pet-friendliness is completely different here. And Winters are long and cold.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
