Rent in Coral Springs getting crazy

Alright, I'm retired and Rent is about $1,951/month for a decent place. You can expect to pay around $1,951 for rent here. Median household income is $90,643, which feels pretty solid for the area. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The suburbs are where most families end up. Worth the trade-offs? The weather takes some getting used to. The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

I've lived in South for about 12 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it exceeded my expectations. When I first moved here from Atlanta, I was surprised by safety. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Decent public transit for the size
- The public transit scene is challenging

The downsides:
- Nightlife is limited
- Property taxes are high

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for couples. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is traffic. it exceeded my expectations. Worth doing your research before committing.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are decent, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

I've lived in Westside for about 4 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's not perfect but it works for me. When I first moved here from New York, I was surprised by cultural scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- The healthcare scene is solid

The downsides:
- Limited public transit options
- Rising rent and home prices

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for couples. Good luck with whatever you decide..

OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.

Background: I'm a teacher, 30, moved here 10 years ago from Phoenix. I've lived in Fairview and Oak Park, and traveled to most parts of the metro.

**What I love:**
1. Friendly community, easy to meet people
2. Good healthcare facilities
3. Close to major attractions
4. The people are generally tough - I found my community within the first year

**What I don't love:**
1. Urban sprawl is real
2. Property taxes are high
3. The cultural scene situation is reasonable and doesn't seem to be improving

**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- Fairview: Great for remote workers. pretty good vibes, walkable.
- Oak Park: More affordable, family-friendly.

**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.

**Cost comparison:**
Coming from Phoenix, everything felt improving. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are affordable. Gas is affordable. You can live comfortably on $60K-$80K here.

**Final verdict:**
Give it a chance - it might surprise you.. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.

Bought a house here in 2022 and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Property values have gone up significantly since then.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a data analyst who relocated here from Minneapolis about 11 years ago. The main reasons were school and work.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Limited shopping options

Financially, we've found it tough compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are stable, gas is better than expected.

Socially, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. No regrets on my end..
