Cost of living reality check -Coram

I grew up here but left for a while. Homes are going for about $425,300 on average. Poverty rate is 5.0%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $2,529/month for a decent place. The suburbs are where most families end up. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Am I wrong here? The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Bought a house here in 2020 and the quality of life is solid. Property values have gone up a bit since then.
