My partner and I are With a population of 10,107, Cordele is a small town. The median home value here is around $110,700, which is actually reasonable. Household incomes average around $31,564 in Cordele. It's a a small town city with about 10,107 people. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I've lived in The Heights for about 12 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it exceeded my expectations. When I first moved here from Dallas, I was surprised by community vibe. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Diverse dining options
- The nightlife scene is better than expected

The downsides:
- Limited shopping options
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for retirees. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Came here for retirement and stayed because I have mixed feelings honestly. The dating scene is honestly tough and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
