Hey, I grew up here but left for a while. The unemployment rate is 6.6%, which is concerning. With a population of 2,405, Cordova is a small town. Rent is about $1,359/month for a decent place. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Would love some local perspective. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Property taxes are high but you get good services.
