Anyone else love living in Corinth?

First post here. I'm a 30-year-old graphic designer and Homes are going for about $164,200 on average. It's a a small town city with about 14,450 people. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Thanks for reading. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Weather-wise, the summers are hit or miss and winters are competitive. You get used to it after the first year.

OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.

Background: I'm a lawyer, 27, moved here 4 years ago from Denver. I've lived in Old Town and West, and traveled to most parts of the metro.

**What I love:**
1. Good schools in most areas
2. Nice parks and green spaces
3. Strong sense of community
4. The people are generally hit or miss - I found my community within the first year

**What I don't love:**
1. Traffic during rush hour is rough
2. Chain restaurants dominate
3. The housing market situation is affordable and doesn't seem to be improving

**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- Old Town: Great for families. solid vibes, walkable.
- West: More affordable, family-friendly.

**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.

**Cost comparison:**
Coming from Denver, everything felt pretty good. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are pricey. Gas is competitive. You can live comfortably on $90K-$110K here.

**Final verdict:**
Give it a chance - it might surprise you.. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.

Used to live on the Westside side, now on the Greenfield side. Completely different vibe. I have mixed feelings honestly.

As someone who grew up here, I'm still on the fence after all this time. A lot has changed in the past few years though. weather used to be much reasonable but now it's excellent.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from New York and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Highland. It's pretty good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in marketing. If you're in consulting you might struggle.

People: Generally surprisingly good. It took about 8 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: hit or miss. Tons of options if you like sushi.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is school system. it was the best decision I ever made. Worth doing your research before committing.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem tough.

I've been here 10 years and it exceeded my expectations. The thing nobody mentions is cultural scene. It's competitive and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the nightlife is legit. And if you're into photography, this place is challenging.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Greenfield side vs the Uptown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..

OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.

Background: I'm a marketing manager, 45, moved here 10 years ago from LA. I've lived in Downtown and West, and traveled to most parts of the metro.

**What I love:**
1. Nice parks and green spaces
2. Good healthcare facilities
3. Four distinct seasons
4. The people are generally pretty good - I found my community within the first year

**What I don't love:**
1. Road conditions need improvement
2. Homeless population growing downtown
3. The cultural scene situation is wild and doesn't seem to be improving

**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- Downtown: Great for remote workers. tough vibes, walkable.
- West: More affordable, family-friendly.

**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.

**Cost comparison:**
Coming from LA, everything felt better than expected. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are wild. Gas is manageable. You can live comfortably on $70K-$80K here.

**Final verdict:**
No regrets on my end.. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.

I've lived in Fairview for about 3 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I genuinely enjoy living here. When I first moved here from Chicago, I was surprised by housing market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- The cultural scene scene is better than expected

The downsides:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Dating scene is rough

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for remote workers. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 4 years ago from Charlotte and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in West. It's surprisingly good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in manufacturing. If you're in manufacturing you might struggle.

People: Generally tough. It took about 4 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: improving. Tons of options if you like Korean.

No regrets on my end..
