Commute times in Corinth -how bad?

Anyone else feel this way? I'm a college student here and Poverty rate is 4.1%, which is pretty low. It's a a small town city with about 22,868 people. You can expect to pay around $1,826 for rent here. The median home value here is around $351,200, which seems about average. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The suburbs are where most families end up. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The city has invested a lot in new development. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Used to live on the Cedar Grove side, now on the Oak Park side. Completely different vibe. it's not perfect but it works for me.

I'm a physical therapist and I've found I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The community is surprisingly good and there's always something going on.

I've lived in Meadowbrook for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from Charlotte, I was surprised by pet-friendliness. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Four distinct seasons
- Affordable housing options
- The weather scene is decent

The downsides:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Homeless population growing downtown

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for remote workers. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
