Living in Coronado -the reality

Random thought, I'm retired and Average temperature is around 64--F, so the weather is moderate. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The city has invested a lot in new development. Is this normal for Coronado?

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 12 years ago from Dallas and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Sunset. It's underrated for what you get.

Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in healthcare. If you're in hospitality you might struggle.

People: Generally average. It took about 12 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: pretty good. Tons of options if you like Indian.

Happy to answer more specific questions..

My experience has been mostly positive. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The only thing I'd watch out for is housing market. Other than that, Good luck with whatever you decide..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want public transit, then yeah this place is great. But if walkability matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
