Hey everyone, I've been here for 3 years and It's a a small town city with about 18,558 people. The unemployment rate is 1.8%, which is pretty low. Poverty rate is 2.7%, which is pretty low. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Would love some local perspective. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.
