Is Corozal zona urbana still affordable?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm a college student here and The median home value here is around $124,400, which is actually reasonable. You can expect to pay around $491 for rent here. Median household income is $23,539, which feels on the lower side for the area. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The city has invested a lot in new development. The suburbs are where most families end up. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem tough.

I've been here 15 years and it's exactly what I was looking for. The thing nobody mentions is healthcare. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the public transit is legit. And if you're into biking, this place is tough.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Old Town side vs the Meadowbrook side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..
