I'm a college student here and The unemployment rate is 6.5%, which is concerning. Poverty rate is 47.8%, which is higher than I expected. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The city has invested a lot in new development. Am I wrong here? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.
