Corpus Christi in the winter — how bad?

Been meaning to ask this. I'm a college student here and You can expect to pay around $1,230 for rent here. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. Thanks! Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

Moved here from Raleigh about 12 years ago. I have mixed feelings honestly. Still getting used to pet-friendliness but It's not for everyone but it works for us..

I'm a project manager and I've found it's been a really good experience overall. The community is underrated and there's always something going on.
