Biggest downsides of living in Corsicana?

Hi all, Military spouse here. The median home value here is around $161,400, which is actually reasonable. With a population of 25,344, Corsicana is a smaller city. The unemployment rate is 3.3%, which is pretty low. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The weather takes some getting used to.

Pros:
- Good job market
- Friendly people
- Nice parks and trails
- Good healthcare facilities
- Walkable downtown

Cons:
- Traffic can be terrible
- Hot summers
- High property taxes
- Few job opportunities in some fields
- Far from major airports
Am I overthinking this? Thanks! Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The weather takes some getting used to. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
