Affordable areas near Corte Madera?

Hey, The median home value here is around $1,702,000, which is pretty steep. It's a a small town city with about 10,101 people. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Worth the trade-offs? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The suburbs are where most families end up. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The weather takes some getting used to. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

I'm a chef and I've found I genuinely enjoy living here. The community is pretty good and there's always something going on.

As someone who grew up here, I have mixed feelings honestly. A lot has changed in the past few years though. walkability used to be much pricey but now it's tough.
