Is it worth buying in Corvallis?

The median home value here is around $480,600, which is pretty steep. Homes are going for about $480,600 on average. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Should I be concerned? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Came here for quality of life and stayed because I have mixed feelings honestly. The traffic is honestly decent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
