Planning a move to Corydon -neighborhoods?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I've been here for 16 years and You can expect to pay around $738 for rent here. Crime rate is something to consider -Corydon sits at 236.0 per 100K. With a population of 1,566, Corydon is a small town. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Should I be concerned? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

I've lived in Old Town for about 11 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's improved dramatically in recent years. When I first moved here from LA, I was surprised by cultural scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Strong job market in several industries
- The pet-friendliness scene is solid

The downsides:
- Road conditions need improvement
- Can feel isolated

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for families. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
