OK so I work in media and With a population of 11,056, Coshocton is a small town. Homes are going for about $121,400 on average. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Let me know your thoughts. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

Bought a house here in 2024 and it exceeded my expectations. Property values have gone down slightly since then.

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.
I've been in North for 12 years. Moved from Nashville for a job opportunity. Here's my honest, detailed take:
**Housing:**
The market right now is better than expected. We bought in 2018 at k and it's now worth about the same than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 2-bed in a safe area. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable.
**Employment:**
healthcare is strong here. consulting is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are manageable for the area.
**Quality of Life:**
I have mixed feelings honestly. The outdoor scene is hit or miss - we have beaches within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.
**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. North schools are surprisingly good. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.
**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Summers can be brutally hot. Winters are long and cold. And traffic can be frustrating.
**Bottom line:**
For retirees, I'd say this is a 5/10. Good luck with whatever you decide.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 9 years ago from Chicago and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Midtown. It's average for what you get.
Jobs: The market is reasonable right now, especially in manufacturing. If you're in tech you might struggle.
People: Generally pretty good. It took about 15 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like Indian.
Feel free to reach out with questions..

I've been living here for 5 years and I'd say I love the pace of life here. The healthcare is challenging compared to other places I've lived. Overall It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in West. It's tough for what you get.
Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in real estate. If you're in retail you might struggle.
People: Generally better than expected. It took about 8 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like Korean.

I've lived in Sunset for about 11 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
the quality of life is solid. When I first moved here from Miami, I was surprised by nightlife. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- The job market scene is decent
The downsides:
- Winters are long and cold
- Far from beaches/mountains
Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for remote workers. Definitely worth checking out..

Used to live on the West side, now on the South side. Completely different vibe. it was the best decision I ever made.
