Working remotely from Costa Mesa

Hey, Born and raised here. Average temperature is around 61--F, so the weather is moderate. It's a a mid-size city city with about 111K people. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Any advice would be great. Thanks for reading. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Weather-wise, the summers are hit or miss and winters are developing. You get used to it after the first year.

I've lived in Lakewood for about 7 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it exceeded my expectations. When I first moved here from Chicago, I was surprised by safety. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Decent public transit for the size
- The dating scene scene is solid

The downsides:
- Nightlife is limited
- Limited shopping options

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for retirees. Happy to answer more specific questions..

I've lived in Springfield for about 5 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I love the pace of life here. When I first moved here from Denver, I was surprised by traffic. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Close to major attractions
- The dating scene scene is challenging

The downsides:
- Property taxes are high
- Homeless population growing downtown

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for families. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's exactly what I was looking for. Hope this helps!.
