Anyone else feel this way? I grew up here but left for a while. Household incomes average around $121,452 in Cottage Grove. Homes are going for about $359,600 on average. You can expect to pay around $1,644 for rent here. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Has anyone dealt with this?
