Day-to-day life in Cottage Lake, WA

Hey, It's a a small town city with about 23,170 people. Average temperature is around 53--F, so expect cold winters. You can expect to pay around $2,374 for rent here. Household incomes average around $197,331 in Cottage Lake. The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. What do you all think? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

I've lived in Fairview for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it was the best decision I ever made. When I first moved here from Chicago, I was surprised by safety. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Decent public transit for the size
- The pet-friendliness scene is solid

The downsides:
- Limited shopping options
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for couples. Hope this helps!.

We moved here with our family and I love the pace of life here. Schools in Meadowbrook area are challenging. Kids love it here.
