Alright, I'm retired and You can expect to pay around $1,693 for rent here. The median home value here is around $381,900, which seems about average. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. What are your go-to spots? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I've lived in South for about 14 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I love the pace of life here. When I first moved here from Houston, I was surprised by public transit. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:

- Good internet infrastructure

- Good airport with direct flights

- The housing market scene is decent

The downsides:

- Limited public transit options

- Property taxes are high

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for couples. Definitely worth checking out..
