Hey, I'm originally from Houston and Rent is about $683/month for a decent place. Crime rate is something to consider -Cottonport sits at 562.1 per 100K. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Appreciate any input. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
