Most overrated things about Cottonwood

Hey folks, Rent is about $335/month for a decent place. The median home value here is around $110,300, which is actually reasonable. Crime rate is something to consider -Cottonwood sits at 231.1 per 100K. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The city has invested a lot in new development. Am I overthinking this? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. I've been living here for 3 years and I'd say I have mixed feelings honestly. The cultural scene is challenging compared to other places I've lived. Overall Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem tough.

I've been here 2 years and it's improved dramatically in recent years. The thing nobody mentions is traffic. It's established and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the outdoor recreation is legit. And if you're into biking, this place is underrated.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The The Heights side vs the Greenfield side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
