Working in Cottonwood Heights -salaries realistic?
Hi all, I work in retail and You can expect to pay around $1,697 for rent here. Homes are going for about $641,900 on average. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Any help is appreciated. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. I genuinely enjoy living here. Compared to Houston it's underrated.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.
I've been here 15 years and I genuinely enjoy living here. The thing nobody mentions is pet-friendliness. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the job market is legit. And if you're into rock climbing, this place is challenging.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Lakewood side vs the Downtown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
