I grew up here but left for a while. Rent is about $1,813/month for a decent place. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

I've lived in Greenfield for about 15 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it's exactly what I was looking for. When I first moved here from Atlanta, I was surprised by community vibe. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Good internet infrastructure
- The traffic scene is excellent
The downsides:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Limited entertainment options
Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for families. No regrets on my end..

Hot take but it's been a really good experience overall. I know a lot of people disagree but after 2 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Public transit is excellent here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I have mixed feelings honestly.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want food scene, then yeah this place is great. But if weather matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Weather-wise, the summers are excellent and winters are manageable. You get used to it after the first year.

I've been living here for 14 years and I'd say there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The job market is surprisingly good compared to other places I've lived. Overall It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Came here for cost of living and stayed because it was the best decision I ever made. The public transit is honestly challenging and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's improved dramatically in recent years. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
