Homes are going for about $180,600 on average. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Has anyone dealt with this? OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 4 years ago from Boston and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in South. It's solid for what you get.
Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in construction. If you're in hospitality you might struggle.
People: Generally decent. It took about 3 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: average. Tons of options if you like craft beer.
