Alright, Born and raised here. With a population of 14,334, Covington is a small town. The unemployment rate is 4.6%, which is about average. The median home value here is around $242,700, which is actually reasonable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Worth the trade-offs? Any help is appreciated. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
